The first edition of my NU_NOISE zine series chronicalling the resurgence of the music genre shoegaze as well as detailing its history through the years.

The first edition briefly covers some iconic bands that influenced musicians to start making heavily distorted guitars a staple in their work. Bands like Sonic Youth who pioneered the noise rock genre that then developed into early shoegaze and dream pop with artists like My Bloody Valentine and The Cocteau twins.

The zine then looks at newer shoegaze artists like Julie and They are Gutting A Body Of Water, who are currently helping push the once forgotten genre back into the public eye.
